One of the considerations drivers take into account when getting a new vehicle is its resale value. According to Kelley Blue Book®, the 2019 INFINITI QX60 has an above average resale value – up to $10,000 more than the Acura MDX. Add to that the QX60’s performance, reliability, luxury and comfort, and it’s clear to see why the 2019 QX60 should be your next luxury SUV.
But more importantly, most drivers want to know what happens at the pump. How much am I going to spend? Both vehicles have a 19.5-gallon fuel tank. However, the INFINITI wins in this category, because it can use regular unleaded gasoline while the MDX uses premium gas only and that translates to spending hundreds more a year.
Smoother Ride
The 2019 INFINITI QX60 outputs 5HP more than the Acura MDX (295 to 290), and more torque as well. The QX60’s wheelbase is 3.2 inches longer which makes for a smoother ride and more stable handling. Yet, one area where the QX60 outshines is in the chassis. INFINITI has almost totally eliminated engine vibration in the passenger area by using liquid-filled engine mounts. This type of mount further dampens engine harshness. On the other hand, Acura uses old-fashioned solid rubber engine mounts.
